Sorcery is the practice of using psychic powers for personal gain and at the expense of others. Some of those practicing sorcery are only marginally aware of this and are deluded in their self-perceptions. Other are very deliberate in their actions. Others yet are entranced by sorcery and are being used like puppets to do the work of others more powerful. Usually there is some kind of agreement and self benefiting payoff with all involved.
Sorcery can be very subtle. For example, it is sorcery to try to help another person but without that person’s permission. Sorcery violates another’s right to choose for themselves and their self-responsibility. Unfortunately, as with other forms of dark energy, those practicing sorcery often speak eloquently, look beautiful and seem to be acting with the highest of motives. You can usually identify a sorcerer/sorceress, however, because their agenda will ultimately be self-serving and will not have your highest good at heart.
